Marguerite Roger (Soprano)


In 1920 she appeared at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo as Pedro in ‘’Don Quichotte’’ of  J. Massenet. The next year she sang at the Paris Opéra-Comique and remained active there till 1924. Here she sang among other things the part of Dorabella in ‘’Così fan tutte’’, Zerline in ‘’Don Giovanni’’, Lakmé, three soprano roles in ‘’Les contes d'Hoffmann’’, Manon, Philine in ‘’Mignon’’, Mireille, Cio-Cio-San and Mimi in ‘’La Bohème’’. Later she performed in different French provincial theaters.
