Bernadette Delprat (Soprano) (Paris, France December 7, 1901 - Paris, France February, 1971)



She made her debut in 1931 as Tosca at the Opéra-Comique in Paris. Probably she also appeared in operettas. Then she appeared in Lyon, Marseille and Bordeaux. In the 1937-1945 seasons she was at the same time a member of the Grand Opéra in Paris, where she made her debut as Marguerite in ‘’Faust’’. She made guest appearances at the Teatro Liceo in Barcelona and in the 1936-1937 season sang at the Covent Garden in London.

Her repertoire included Countess in ‘’Nozze die Figaro’’, Donna Elvira, Elsa in ‘’Lohengrin’’, Mimi in ‘’La Bohème’’, Cio-Cio-San in ‘’Madama Butterfly’’ and Salomé in ‘’Hérodiade’’.
