Gustav Schützendorf (Baritone) (b Cologne, 1883; d Berlin, 27 April 1937)



Like his brothers Guido (1880-1967), Leo (1886-1931) and Alfons (1882-1946), he also became an opera singer. He studied singing at the conservatoires of Cologne and Milan. He made his debut at the Opernhaus in Düsseldorf as Don Giovanni (1905). He died suddenly, three weeks after his return to Berlin.
