She studied singing under Oscar Seagle and Jean de Reszke in Paris and made her debut in 1911 in Vichy. In 1914 she appeared at the Opéra-Comique as Lakmé by L. Delibes and sang also at the Théâtre Lyrique in Paris. In 1914 she guested at the Municipal Theater of Zurich as Violetta in ‘’Traviata’’. In the 1917-1919 seasons she was active at the New York Metropolitan Opera (debut: Micaela in ‘’Carmen’’). There she sang among other things the part of Mimi in ‘’La Bohème’’ as a partner of John McCormack. In 1922 she was engaged again by the Metropolitan Opera, however, she was sang only in the Sunday Night Concerts. In 1923 she undertook an European tour as a soloist of the Harcrad Glee Clubs. After her marriage retired in 1924 from the stage. Then she lived in Texas, where her husband was a commander od Texas National Guard.
