Luis Canalda (Tenor) (Santa Bárbara/Tarragona 1896 - Barcelona 1962)



In 1913 he debuted at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid as Turiddu in ‘’Cavalleria rusticana’’. In 1914 he performed at the Teatro Liceo in Barcelona as Canio in ‘’Pagliacci’’. During the 1910s and 1920s in Spain and  in Italy he was a acknowledged interpreter of Heldentenor Wagner roles.
