Francesco Fazzini (Tenor)



                                                       Canio in ‘’Pagliacci’’



He made his debut as baritone. It happened in 1900 when at the Teatro Manzoni in Pistoia he sang the role of David in Mascagni’s ‘’L’Amico Fritz’’. In 1903 Fazzini made his second debut as tenor appearing as Loris in ‘’Giordano’s ‘’Fedora’’. In 1906 he appeared at Covent Garden in London as Don Jose in ‘’Carmen’’ with Angelo Scandiani and Louise Kirkby Lunn. In 1913 he performed at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice as Otello in Verdi’s ‘’Otello’’ with Enrico Nani and Sara Fidelia Solari. Approximately from 1920 he started to appear as comprimario.
