Giorgio Luca (Giorgios Z. Chatziloukas) (Tenor) (Athens 1876 – Athens 1919)




In 1900 he made his debut as Rodolfo in ‘’La Bohème’’ at the Ellinikon Melodrama in Athens. Soon after he went to Italy where in 1901 (1900?) made his debut at the Teatro Carignano of Turin as Alfredo in ‘’La Traviata’’. In 1903 he sang at the Teatro Sociale in Cittadella as Duke in ‘’Rigoletto’’. He sang also in Genova, Oneglia, Varese, Perugia and in other Italian cities. In 1908 he returned to Greece and sang there until 1918.
