Linda Brambilla (Soprano) (Modena 1859 - Milano 1933)




Probably she made her debut in 1885 at Politeama of Adria in ‘’Crispino e la comare’’. In 1900 she appeared at La Scala as Adina in ''L'elisir d'amore'' together with Enrico Caruso. On 17. 1. 1901 she created there the role of Colombina in ''Le Maschere'' of Mascagni together with Enrico Caruso, Emma Carelli and Oreste Luppi in one of six premieres of this opera. During her career she made guest appearances in Mexico City, Barcelona and Oporto. Her career ended approximately in 1910 at Italian provincial stages. Later she worked as a pedagogue in Milan.
