Agostino Lanzoni (Bass) (Bologna 1853 – Bologna 1918)


In the early 20th century he had a successful career as a serious bass in the leading Italian provincial theaters, in particular at Teatro Comunale of his hometown Bologna. In 1890 he helped at Teatro Comunale, Bologna in the premiere of the opera ‘’La Pellegrina’’ of Filippo Clementi. Beside his work on the stage he was also a respected concert bass. In 1900 he sang at  the Salone Perosi in Milan in the premiere of the oratorio ‘’Mosè’’ of Lorenzo Perosi.
