Rosita Medini (Soprano) (Ferrara ? - ?)

She studied in Ferrara under Bilwiller and made her debut as mezzo-Soprano singing in ''Frà Diavolo'' at the Teatro Sociale in Soresina (1900). She was woman of difficult and irascible character. In 1905 at the Teatro Morlacchi in Perugia, while she was singing in ''Aida'', she quarreled with the director Bavagnoli and the quarrel caused the suspension of the show. She had to leave the theatre escorted by the police to defend herself from the furious public. The year later at the Teatro Chiabrera in Savona, she was engaged for some performances of ''Jone'', but was protested by the director Disconzi. The following evening slapped the Disconzi that sued her. She received a 75 days of jail sentence.
