Emile Colonne (Baritone) (Toulon 1885 - Bruxelles 1970)



He studied singing at the Toulon Conservatory and sang for many years at the La Monnaie inBrussels. He appeared in the Brussels premiers of the operas ‘’Antigone’’ (1927) of A. Honegger and  ‘’The Gambler’’ by S. Prokofiev’s (1929). His repertory included Germont, Escamillo and Athanael in ‘’Thais’’. He retired from the stage in 1952.
