She studied singing at the conservatoire of
Marseille. After the first engagements in the French province and Belgium, she
was engaged in 1912 by Oscar hammerstein for appearances in his London Opera
House. Here she announced the English audience with the contemporary French
repertoire unknown for them. Her repertoire included Jean in ‘’Jongleur de
Notre Dame’’, Philine in ‘’Mignon’’, Mathilde in ‘’Wilhelm Tell’’, Thaïs and
Marguerite in ‘’Faust’’. In the 1916-1917 season she made her debut at the
Grand Opéra in Paris as Thaïs and sang there parts of Mathilde in ’’Wilhelm Tell’’,
Juliette in ‘’Roméo et Juliette’’ and Marguerite in ‘’Huguenots’’. In 1923 she
made guest appearance at the Opéra-Comique in Paris as Madame Butterfly. She
continued her stage career at the famous theaters of the French province. In
1959 she received a professorship in the conservatoire of her hometown Nice.
