Aleksander Myszuga (Tenor) (June 6, 1853 Novi Vitki, Ukraine - March 9, 1922 near Freiburg, Germania)



From 1878 to 1881 he studied singing at the Lviv Conservatory under Walery Wysocki and made his debut at the Lviv Opera as Stefan in Stanisław Moniuszko’s opera ‘’Straszny dwór’’. From 1881 to 1883 he perfected his vocal technique in Milan under M. Giovanni and in Paris under Giovanni Sbriglia. His Italian opera debut was happened at the Opera House in Forli as Lionel in ‘’Martha’’.  In Italy he used the stage name Filippi. He made only two records, which are extremely rare.
