Ubaldo Ceccarelli (Bass) (Pisa 1862 - ?)




He studied at the Parma Conservatoire and made his debut in 1895 at the Arena Federici in Verona in Pisa in G. Verdi’s ‘’Ernani’’. In the 1891-92 season he appeared in Venezia and Trieste. In 1901 he made guest appearance at the Teatro Nuovo in Pisaas Silva in Verdi’s ‘’Ernani’’. In 1911 he sang at the Teatro Municipale of Piacenza as Geronimo in Cimarosa’s ‘’Il matrimonio of segreto’’, the same year he performed at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna as Warlaam in ‘’Boris Godunov’’ and again as Geronimo. In 1916 in the same opera house he sang the role of Benoît in Puccini’s ‘’Bohème‘’.
