Alfred Färbach (Tenor) (Stuttgart 1878 – Mannheim 1939)



His education occurred mainly in Berlin. He made his debut in the 1908-09 season at the Court Theatre of Sangerhausen (Thuringia), then he sang in the 1909-10 season at the Municipal Theatre of  Elberfeld, from 1910-12 at the Municipal Theatre of Stettin, in the 1912-14 seasons at the Municipal Theatre  of  Halle (Saale), from 1914-15 at the Opera House of Wroclaw, in the 1915-18 seasons at the Municipal Theatre of Strasbourg and from 1919-20 at the Municipal Theatre of Freiburg im Breisgau. His career reached her climax in the 1920-26 seasons, when he appeared at the National Theatre of Mannheim. Then he worked in Mannheimas a pedagogue. He was also active as a concert singer.
