Francis Banuls (Tenor) (Algiers 1897 – Toulon 1979)



He made his debut at Opéra-Comique in Paris on July 2nd, 1927. Banuls frequently appeared in provincial opera houses and had a successful career appearing as Rodolfo (‘Boheme’’), Hoffmann (‘’The Tales of Hoffmann’’), Don José (‘’Carmen’’), Gérald (‘’Lakme’’), Pinkerton (‘’Madama Butterfly’’), Werther (‘’Werther’’), Cavaradossi (‘’Tosca’’) and Wilhelm Meister (“Mignon’’).
