Giuseppe Mauro (Tenor) (Piana de' Galli/Palermo 1880 - New York 1928)




He studied at Milan under Nino Cairone and made his debut in 1901 at the Teatro Sociale of Casalmaggiore in ‘’La Forza del Destino’’. In 1911 he went to United States where, after the withdrawal , opened a school of song, the Mural Singing School. Being Sick he died during the interval of the concert of his students at Carnegie Hall.
