Mario Binci (Tenor) (Castelfidardo, Italy 1918 - ?)



At the age of 12 he already sang in a choir. In 1940 he won the national singing competition in Florence. Then during the Second World War he became a soldier. He received his education at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Roma. His vocal pedagogue was Edvige Ghibaudo. In 1944 he made his debut at the Teatro Quirino in Roma as Pinkerton in ‘’Madama Butterfly’’.
