Alfred Galand (Tenor)




He made his début at the Opéra-Comique as Walter in Jules Barbier’s "Amoureux de Catherine" (1888). His repertoire included Gérald in ‘’Lakme’’, Wilhelm Meister in ‘’Mignon’’ and Rodolphe in ‘’La Traviata’’. In 1895 he appeared at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo as Fernand in ‘’La Favorite’’ opposite Deschamps-Jehin and Melchissèdec. He made 8 recordings for Odeon, Semeuse and Idéal.
