Rafael Lagares (Tenor) (Córdoba, Spain 1918 - Buenos Aires, Argentina 1999)



He studied singing in Buenos Aires under the pedagogue Guido Frati and made his debut in 1948 as Cavaradossi at the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. In his young days he was called ‘’The New Caruso’’.
