Margherita Almansi (Soprano) (Reggio Emilia 1878 - Montevideo 1944)


She was the sister of the tenor Carlo Almansi. She studied singing with Callery Villani and Melchiorre Vidal. She made her debut in 1898 at the Teatro Sociale in Busto Arsizio. In 1911 she started to sing in Operetta. In 1904 she appeared at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome in G. Verdi’s  ‘’Ballo in maschera’’. In 1908 she made guest appearances in Montevideo. Probably she retired from the stage in 1910.
