Banuls frequently appeared in provincial opera houses and had a successful career appearing as Rodolfo (‘’Boheme’’), Hoffmann (‘’The Tales of Hoffmann’’), Don José (‘’Carmen’’), Gérald (‘’Lakme’’), Pinkerton (‘’Madama Butterfly’’), Werther (‘’Werther’’), Cavaradossi (‘’Tosca’’) and Wilhelm Meister (“Mignon’’).
