Virginia Novelli (Soprano)

Probably she made her debut in 1895 at the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Turinas Micaela in G. Bizet’s ‘’Carmen’’. In 1900 she made successful guest appearances in Cairo (Teatro Esbekieh) and Alessandria (Teatro Alcazar) singing in ‘’Boheme’’, ‘’Pagliacci’’, ‘’Rigoletto’’, ‘’Manon Lescaut’’. In 1902 she was in Odessa, where at the Teatro Municipale performed in ‘’Rigoletto’’. She retired from the stage in USA, where sang from 1907 to 1910. In 1908 she made a few record for Zonophone.
