Roberto Viglione (Baritone) (Rio de Janeiro 1889 - Madrid 1921)


Amonasro



His real name was Roberto Fernandes Carrapatoso. He studied the violin at the conservatory of Rio of January becaming an excellent performer, then he went to Milan and received his education as a singer at the conservatory of Milan. He successfully made his operatic debut in G. Verdi’s ‘’Trovatore’’ in Alessandria(9. 04. 1910). He died of pneumonia in Madrid on February 2, 1921. He made only one record for Columbia.
