Monsieur Berthaud (Tenor)

In 1913 he appeared at the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris in ‘’Pagliacci’’ as Beppe with Campagnola, Maguenat, Raymond, Mme Heillbronner, Amalou. The same year he also sang in  ’’Le châlet’’  as Daniel with Mme Maïna Doria, Alberti, Amalou. In 1914 he made his debut at the Opéra-Comique in ''la Vivandière'' as André. He also created Béatrice (Fabio) and Madame Sans-Gêne. He appeared in ‘’Carmen’’ (le Dancaïre), ‘’Les Contes d’Hoffmann’’ (Spalanzani), ‘’Coupe Enchantée’’ (Thibaut), ‘’La Fille de Madame Angot’’ (Pomponnet), ‘’Juif Polonais’’ (Docteur Nickel), ‘’Lakmé’’ (Hadji), ‘’Louise’’ (Peintre, Marchand d'habits), ‘’Madame Butterfly’’ (Yamadori), ‘’Manon’’ (Brétigny), ‘’Mârouf’’ (Chef des marins), ‘’Mignon’’ ( Laërte), ‘’Paillasse’’ (Beppe), ‘’les Rendez-vous bourgeois’’ (Charles), ‘’Sapho’’ (la Borderie), ‘’Tosca’’ (Spoletta), ‘’Traviata’’ (le Vicomte), ‘’Bohème’’ (Parpignol), ‘’Werther’’ (Schmidt), ‘’Fortunio’’ (Landru).
