She received her education at the in Paris Conservatoire . She made her debut in 1894 at the Paris Opera-Comique as Javotte in ''Manon'' of Massenet. She remained eight years in this opera house and then sang from 1902 to 1910 with great success at the Théâtre de la Monnaie of Brussels. Here she appeared in several premieres. During the years of the First World War she was to be found at the French province, above all at the opera houses of Lyon and Marseille. In the 1918-20 seasons she appeared at the Grand Opéra of Paris as Siebel in ''Faust'', Stéphano in ''Roméo et Juliette'', Edvige in Rossini's ''Wilhelm Tell'' and Crobyle in ''Thaïs'' of Massenet. She lived later in Paris.
