Julia Guiraudon (Soprano) (Bordeaux, France 9/12 1873 - ?)



First she received her education in Bordeaux, then, till 1896, she studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, among other things with Giraudet and Taskin. She began her career in 1897 at the Opéra-Comique in Paris, where she made her debut in the premiere of the opera ‘’Kermaria’’of Camille Erlanger. In 1898 she sang at the Opéra-Comique the part of Mimi in the French première of G. Puccini’s ‘’La Bohème’’. She was married with the author Henri Cain, who wrote several opera librettos for J. Massenet.
